By popular request, we have added a 4th ad type to the marketplace. Publishers can now sell ads that are a monthly text link on their site.
Since ads are not run instantly (they start on the 1st of the month), we built a new pre-authorize order system to handle it. An advertiser can bid on the space, pre-authorize up to a maximum amount, and then they aren’t charged until the 1st of the month when bid are finalized and payments settled (the advertiser would only be charged what their winning bid amount was).
This means you can now sell the following type of ads:
- Banners (16 sizes)
- Inline Keyword Ads
- Email Ads
- Static Text Links (new)
